Far away from the crowd of the big hotels, you can have full contact with nature in its wildest state. An island with 42 kilometers long and 2 wide virgin space, where sailing with your board becomes an incomparable sensation. Dolphins, Manta Rays, a lot of species of fish, and an endless number of migratory birds become your companions during your kite sessions.

How to get to Holbox?

To reach Holbox Island, you first need to travel to the small coastal town of Chiquilá, located on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. From Cancún, Playa del Carmen, or Tulum, you can take a bus, a van, or rent a car, with a journey lasting between two and three hours depending on your starting point. In Chiquilá, you’ll find a pier where ferries depart for Holbox every 30 minutes during the day; the ferry ride takes about 20 minutes and offers panoramic views of the turquoise sea. Once on the island, car traffic is restricted, so you can get around on foot, by bicycle, or in golf carts.
