KukulKite is a school dedicated to the practice of Kitesurfing / Kiteboarding in Holbox Island. We offer Kite classes for all types of levels in a suitable environment, thus ensuring a fast and safe learning with the kite.
What is Kitesurfing ?
Kitesurfing is an exciting water sport that combines the power of a large controllable kite with a board to glide across the water. It blends elements of surfing, wakeboarding, and windsurfing, offering both adrenaline-filled action and moments of pure freedom. Whether you’re chasing waves, performing jumps, or simply enjoying the ride, kitesurfing delivers a unique connection with wind and sea.

You can start learning kiteboarding with our Discovery Course, a 2-hour introduction that covers the basics, safety, and first steps to get you comfortable with the kite. For those ready to progress further, we offer Complete Courses totalling 9 hours, designed to take you from beginner to confident rider, mastering both kite control and board skills.
Holbox offers two main kiteboarding spots. Holbox Kite Beach (Kite Beach) is just 7 minutes from town, with shallow waters, a sandbar, and steady NW, N, NE, and E winds—perfect for beginners and lessons thanks to its safe, flat-to-slightly-choppy conditions. Punta Mosquito, reached by a 10-minute boat ride, is a wide beach with choppier waters and E to SE winds, great for all levels. Wherever you ride, use proper safety gear, be aware of others, and follow professional guidance.
